Hey, everyone, I haven’t really posted anything since announcing that I was excepted to the world race gap year. I wanted this blog to be real and honest so I have struggled with what to write about next I have never been into posting on social media or being very public about anything about myself so to be completely honest with ya’ll this is kinda hard for me. But after weeks of writing posts just to end up scraping them over and over again, I decided to just start with the basics I’m going to tell you a little more about myself and let you get an insight on my overly average life!!

So here  goes nothing, I graduated beauty school this past June and have just started working as a stylist, it’s a love-hate relationship for me because I’m not exactly a people person but I love to do hair and honestly I never really saw myself becoming a cosmetologist but then again I never thought I would be traveling the world and spreading the word of God for nine months. My favorite movie is the Sound of Music, I can quote the entire movie and will never get tired of watching it.  I’m also a lover of pickles, popcorn, and tea. Yes this is a slightly weird combination of food/drink items and to be completely honest I could probably be happy with only eating those things for the rest of my life! I couldn’t live without them speaking of one thing I don’t know how I’m going to go nine whole months without my heated blanket, some people might not think so but for me it will be a challenge I’m obsessed with it, fun fact I’m always cold no matter what time of the year it is so a heated blanket is a must-have for me, just ask my boyfriend he can’t stand my cold feet. I hope this short description of myself wasn’t too boring!!!

Trip Update and Fundraising:

So I have some exciting news about my route this past week I got the notification from my trip advisor that they have added Nepal to my route!!! I’m so excited to see what God has planned me in Nepal. I’m so blessed to be able to spread God’s word in this beautiful country and experience the people and their culture. God is so cool am I right…

The fundraising has been going okay, I sometimes find myself getting frustrated with it, but I know Gods got me and he will make it happen. I have raised a little under $1000 so I still have long ways to go… Thank you to all of you who have supported me so far with prayers and donations it means a lot!!
