I see you in little Julia, in her joy and cheerful singing to you.
I see you in Liki, who adores living in this village and favorite part of living here is caring for the piglets and teaching the children.
I see you in little Eve and Michael, who love to twirl, dance, sing, and giggle.
I see you in Leon, the man from Germany, who holds this village dear in his heart. I see you in his eyes that carry his heartbreak, wisdom, and your presence in his heart. I see you in his beautiful burst of laughter as we sit in a circle and eat dinner together. I see you in his tears during prayer.
I see you, Lord, in the students whose wheels are turning as they learn English words.
I see you in the refuge you have created both in yourself and in this village for the people who have fled from Myanmar to Thailand to find safety.
I see you in the starry night sky as I ride in the back of a truck and look up above.
I see you in my teammates overflowing love for each other.
I see you in giggles under a mosquito net with my teammates.
I see you in daily trips to the little shop down the road to eat snacks and share life with these beautiful friends you have blessed me with.
I see you in dancing and twirling to music.
I see you in the vastness and beauty of the jungle.
I see you in the light you bring into a dark and heavy Buddhist temple filled with gold idols.
I see you in the pursuit of the people who come through this village from many nations.
I see you in the passionate singing of the children in the early morning, afternoon, and evening.
I see you in the one big family that is formed here, family that formed all by your placing them together.
I see you in the care you provide for sickness.
I see you in Elizabeth as she cares for her children and cares for us.
I see you in running children that turn into leaping hugs!
I see you in moments so beautiful that makes time stand still and my heart soak in the joy.
I see you in the details and how you weave all thing together for good.
I see you in loved ones at home. I see you caring for loved ones at home.
Lord, I see you in a billion different and beautiful ways!
