I would like to introduce you to:

BJ! aka The Punning Dutchman
11 Facts about BJ:
1. He can draw dinosaurs. And they’re pretty fantastic. As a self-proclaimed dinosaur enthusiast, I must say that He can draw some majestic prehistoric creatures.
2. He’s so “punny”! Seriously. He can pull out some puns out of nowhere. And they’re always perfectly timed. They make us laugh. So hard.
3. He has three older siblings. He likes to say that when he entered kindergarten, they were all in college. So, yeah.
4. Although he is Dutch (heritage-wise), he didn’t know how to play Dutch Blitz! Don’t worry, Nick taught him (and the rest of us) the other night. We are now a Dutch Blitz-playing team! (We’ll be learning some other card games, I’m sure.)
5. He’s from Wisconsin.
6. BJ has some pretty funny stories about cows. He grew up working with cattle, and the other day he was telling us about an unusually intelligent cow that tried to outsmart them.
7. BJ was a football coach. He poured himself into the students so that he might have opportunities to share the gospel with them.
8. He took some seminary classes. And he’s very knowledgeable about Scripture.
9. He loves playing Rook. (It’s a card game very similar to Spades and Wizard! I’m sure I’ll love playing it.)
10. BJ loves praying. He loves entering the presence of the Almighty and praising Him and interceding on the behalf of others. I would venture to say that he’s a true prayer warrior.
11. He is gentle and kind in spirit. And he’s so genuine and caring about everryone he interacts with.
I am so grateful the Lord crossed our paths and we get to do life together and serve the nations together. I know the Lord has much to teach me through BJ.
