I think it’s finally hitting me that we’ve just finished up month 6.
I mean, is that even possible?! It feels like I just left home yesterday.
But it has happened. Time is flying by. And it’s been awesome to see what The Lord has already accomplished in me and through me over the past six months. And He still have five to go!

This past month in Ethiopia has been awesome. Hard, but I’ve seen The Lord move and work in some pretty great ways.
My ministry, as I’ve said, has been a gift. I’ve been cooking all month. And it’s been wonderful to be in the kitchen, loving on my squad mates and being able to get to know each of them a little more. I’ve loved hearing the stories they have brought to me–telling me about their days out in ministry–whether it was the blisters on their hands from digging dirt or telling me about a kid who couldn’t see at the eye screening because of an infection in his eye.

We’re off to Montenegro today, which is bizarre. We’re saying goodbye to Africa and heading into Western Europe.
Two continents down, two more to go.
Like I said, time is flying.
But at the same time, The Lord is making every moment worth it.

In Montenegro we’ll be working with a local pastor and his church. We’ll be running a weekly kids program, as well as planning special events for teens and young adults. I guess the church has a large population of teens and young adults. So it’ll be cool.
I’m looking forward to having a little more access to fresh fruit! (I’ve heard that it’s cherry season there…so guess what I’ll be eating a lot of!)
I will most likely have a lot more access to wifi this month….but I guess we can never be certain of that.

The Race is halfway gone. I’m praising God for what He’s done so far and for what He’s still going to do!
