OOPS! I accidentally posted the blog without finishing it! Here is the complete picture blog!
Since I have not been able to add pictures to the last few blogs, I thought I would update you with a picture blog! These are some of my favorite people and places from the 1st 3 months of this journey!
Dominican Republic – Month 1
The sign welcoming us into the local church we partnered with! Such a great effort ๐
The cutest little girl I’ve ever met. Her name is Crystal, the girl I wrote about in
Faith Like a Child.
Ecuador – Month 2
The house we stayed out on our life-changing trip to Higerones. For more info about that trip, check out my blog The Unreached People of San Pablo.
One of the best days of the trip. We titled it “Family Farm Fun Day.” We did everything from milking cows and riding horses to swimming in the river and playing family futbal. We also got caught in a downpour in the back of the truck for around an hour. Great times!
Our ministry contact, Percy, and his gorgeous fiance Gema. What a strong and courageous man of God. It was a pleasure to serve alongside him all month.
Always remember, “Choose joy!”
Peru – Month 3
During our month in Peru, I hopped back to the states for a few days to take part in the wedding of my brother, Stephen Byxbe. Even though I was involved in ministry during the first week of the month, I have no pictures from that time. So here are a few photos instead of the time with my family.
My brother and his beautiful bride, Autumn Byxbe ๐
Congratulations to you both!
The original four Byxbe’s. Such an amazing family to be blessed with.
Betty Ann Byxbe: my mother, best friend, and prayer partner.
I love you Mama ๐
The wedding was so amazing to be apart of! But now, back to the task at hand! I’m back in Peru for one more week of ministry and then our squad moves to Nicaragua! Please keep us all in your prayers as we continue to bring the Kingdom to Earth!
**Update**
I am only $2,000 away from being fully funded! Please continue to pray for these funds to come in. Also, if you know anyone who would be interested in my journey, pass this blog site on to them. Together, we can change the world for God’s glory!
