I find
that writing about myself is sometimes the hardest thing to do! But I will try
my best!
I grew
up in the small town of Dublin, GA. I had 3 siblings, making me the youngest of
4. I think family is one of the most important things in life, and I wouldn’t
trade mine for the world. Somehow, all 4 of us ended up involved or ON the
mission field. I have no idea what my parents did, but I hope to do the same
thing for my kids.
I love
to travel, probably more than the average person should! But I thrive on the
adventure and the constant changes it provides. I have traveled to or through
half of the 50 states, and also to Haiti and Kenya. I spent a month in Kenya,
working at an orphanage and should never have left. However, I did come home
and God taught me many things about myself and His will for my life, so I have
no regrets.
I
definitely fell off the path, experiencing life in a different light. It was a
very tough time in my life, but God brought me out of that ditch and put me
back on my feet! I moved to Charlotte, NC (where I currently reside) to start
over. He put the perfect people in my life who have taught me what it really
means to have friends, and pointed me towards the path I’m supposed to be
living. This is why I’m heading out on TWR!
I feel like God has one of these places in
my future to live, and I can’t wait to discover where He wants me to be. I have
given up my life for Him to use me however and wherever He wants, and the
thrill of living completely for Him keeps me motivated every day!
