Hello all!
I just wanted to take a minute to outline EXACTLY how you can be a part of my ministry, because without you my ministry doesn't happen. So can we think of this as our ministry? Because that's exactly what is it.
The first and most important way you can join this team is to be in prayer! Please pray for me, my team, my squad, the people we will minister to, the countries we are traveling to, the work we will do, etc. etc. Just pray and pray A LOT! Prayer changes things and changes lives!
If you would like to officially be a part of this team, there are two ways you can do that. The BEST way is to subscribe to my blog (by clicking on the SUBSCRIBE button on the left side of the screen), that way you'll get an email every time I send an update and you'll know what our prayer needs are. The second way is to become a part of Beka's Prayer Team for THE WORLD RACE on Facebook by clicking here. Request to become a member and I'll add you as soon as possible.
And, of course, the other way you can be apart of our ministry is through financial support. I hope that you will prayerfully consider joining in this way as well. My total cost for the trip is $15,500, as well as additional supplies and needs ($1,500 to $2,000).
Here are some ways you can help (and I promise EVERY dollar counts):
- Make a one-time gift. There's a link on the left of my blog that says "Support Me!" Here is where you can pay online to contribute to my overall goal of $15,500. However if you pay by credit card, 5% is taken out for fees. Bank withdrawals take out 3% in fees. So if possible, sending in a check will help me to put 100% of your gift toward my goal. And if you would like to do this option, please send me a message and we'll get that taken care of.
- Make a reoccurring monthly gift. To make your donation more manageable you can break it up into monthly payments, spreading your gift out over several months or up to 12 months (Note: ALL donations must be made before 7/1/2012 as I must be fully funded by the conclusion of my 6th month on the mission field.)
- Pass my blog along to someone that might be interested in this ministry. I love meeting new people and getting to share my story of the World Race with them. I'll even come speak to a group if you'd like, just get in contact with me via the "Contact Me" tab and we can go from there!
Thank you SO much for considering being a part of this ministry. Every little bit counts, so don't hesitate to join in what you might think is a small way (or in the best way, through prayer) because no work done in the kingdom is small!
