I expect to see the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
I expect to see miracles.
I expect to see lives changed.
I expect to love the unloved.
I expect to bring hope.
I expect to laugh.
I expect to see change in the world by the mighty power of God.
I expect to see the Holy Spirit move.
I expect to worship with abandon with my brothers & sisters all over the world.
I expect to see salvation spread.
I expect that those in captivity will be FREE!
and I expect that God will work through me.
I expect to be changed.
I expect to see my faith grow.
I expect to be challenged.
I expect to be used.
I expect to live simply.
I expect to act a little crazy and be way to silly.
I expect to cry, a lot.
I expect that I'll doubt.
I expect to be humbled.
I expect that I'll complain.
I expect that I'll know more joy that I knew existed.
I expect that my back will hurt more than once.
I expect to miss my friends and family.
and I expect to want to run home someone in the midst of the next year.
But I also expect to come home a different, but better follower of Christ.
I expect to fall more in love with the Father.
I expect to see the heart of the Father.
I expect to know my Father more through knowing His people.
I expect Him to show up and show off.
I expect my heart to break, 11 times.
I expect to understand more of who God is.
And I expect to spend more time with Him, because I want to and because I have to.
I expect to live in true community.
I expect to love my squad and my team.
I also expect to hate my squad and my team.
I expect them to be honest with me.
I expect to grow as a family.
I expect to encounter people who's desire to serve the Lord burns like mine does.
I expect to be annoying and I expect to be annoyed.
I expect to start acting like a mom, because I always do.
I expect to see Jesus in my team and in the people we serve with.
I expect to see God glorified…
not by anything that I or my team or my squad does on our own, but simply by all of us allowing God to work through us so that His kingdom is spread and so that more may come to know
the love of our Father, the gift of His Son, and the true power of the Holy Spirit.
