Dear Friends and Family,
God revealed Himself to me in a powerful way this summer, calling me out from where I am to boldly follow Him in a new way. At first I didn’t know what this meant or what it would look like. Over the last several weeks through divine appointments, prayer, and open doors, the LORD has clearly shown me the path He has for me. I will be stepping out of the classroom for now to join the World Race, a program through Adventures in Missions. I will be on a mission team of about sixty other adults, ages 21-35, visiting and ministering to eleven nations over eleven months. This calling is completely out of my comfort zone, and as excited as I am, I am also scared. I know that I cannot do this on my own, but only by the power of Christ in me. On the World Race, I will be serving with my team to partner with churches and outreach organizations in local communities to share God’s love and hope, work in orphanages and schools, and minister to children and widows. I leave in January for this journey to go to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, and India!. My heart truly desires for the nations to know God’s healing power and to have the hope of Jesus. I am beyond grateful for this unique opportunity to see and serve God’s people all over the world. I know that I will be forever changed by this experience. As I step out in faith, I would ask you to consider partnering with me in this adventure through prayer and/or financial support.
