I don’t really feel like my Race has ended yet. This is my Month 12.
I am in America and I am living with my wonderful family. The tree is decorated and I can smell the Christmas cookies in the oven. It has been a beautiful time of rest and reunion but I can’t help to think that at the end of this month I am doing the same thing as I have been doing for the past 11.
I am packing up and moving out. Although I am sad to leave my family again, I know this is where God is taking me and I am getting so excited for this next season of my life. I am Squad Leading C-Squad and I can’t wait to see how God moves with this new group of people. They seem great!
I am heading to Honduras (this country was Month 3 on my Race where I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a huge turning point for me, I am so excited to go back), Guatemala, El Salvador, Albania and Bulgaria.
Please join me in praying for my squad and for myself as we let go of the comforts of home to follow God’s calling of going to the “least of these”. I also still need to raise $5,300 for this trip, so if you can help in any way, there is a “Support Me” link to the left of this blog. Thank you so much!
