Being home for over a month now has been quite the experience! I love my family so much and just sitting here now in my living room with them makes me so happy! Not to mention, kissing on my little nephew all the time, he is the cutest!
While home, Jesus has talked to me so much. He has told me that it’s ok to be mad sometimes. It’s ok to cry out to him and to tell him I don’t get. It’s ok to ask Him why I am sick. It’s ok to ask Him why I am here! A lot of times He just looks at me with one of those “mom smiles”, you know, the one that means, “I know the answer but I’m not telling you yet”. But sometimes He tells me.
He has told me a little bit and the rest, well, I know how much He loves me so I trust Him with it. What He has showed me is Thailand! I went to Thailand on my Race this time last year! I loved the culture, I loved the atmosphere and my heart truly broke for these people and now I have an opportunity to go back!
I am still Squad leading C Squad! I love them so much! I have missed my time with them but very soon I will be flying back out to join them! God has blessed me with an incredible group of people who encourage me and teach me more than they probably even know!
At the end of the May, I will have to hug them goodbye (again) and watch them soar as the Lord takes them deeper. I will be heading from my squad to Thailand right after. I will be in Thailand for about two months on a vision trip.
During this time, me and a few others will be spending time in this country listening to Jesus. I don’t know what this trip will look like, but I know that He called me to go there and I’m going.
