Since day 1 of this process, I was told that…

“God will provide the means.”

When you are backpacking, the summit is the ultimate goal.
You do not need to know the exact route you are taking planned out, because
trails often have markers, or “cairns”. (rocks stacked to mark the path) We
need to follow God’s plan the same way… Step by step using His Route.

That’s great, but HOW? WHEN? – As hard as it
might be at first, we have to realize
these
details don’t matter.

God’s Time does NOT usually line up with ‘Our time’. The reasons why:

1-    To
To remind us of His
Power

2-     To
test our
Faith

3-
To see our reaction when we realize things work in ways we didn’t
see coming

(God has a sense of Humor
too)

God does not set people
up to fail.
I did not find
this missions opportunity; it found me, and I will not find the means either; He will provide
them.

Last night I was in tears, feeling alone and
overwhelmed by this whole process.
(Am I ready for this? What’s the next step?
Where’s the money going to come from?)
Today I came home to see that my first
pledges have become ‘official’ in my account, and received an e-mail about possible
financial support that I didn’t even seek out.

God’s Timing is perfect, not mine. From this
point on, I am leaving my doubt at the door and striving to Trust Him. There is
a bigger picture that I was called to be a part of next year, and the ‘How’s’
& ‘When’s?’ are minuscule.

 Trust in God,
He’s the only one that never fails us
