April, you were a good one.

To all of my family, friends, co-workers and complete strangers… THANK YOU! Your prayers, financial support, words of encouragement, and love have brought me more joy that you could possibly imagine, thanks so much! The Lord has revealed so much to me the past couple of weeks.

First of all, provision. I’m almost at my first goal which is $3500 by June 12th. I can barely believe that I’ve reached the $2000 mark! God is so faithful. When I first started fundraising I firmly believed, “Lord, if this is something that You want me to do, You’ll make it happen.” And He totally has! I am so excited for what’s to come. So please, keep making me busy with photoshoots, printing calendars, and spreading the word! You guys are amazing!

Second of all, life lessons. In the span of a month, I hiked through a steep ridge with no gear, got caught in a snow/hail storm with no jacket, got a flat tire, saw a horrible motorcycle accident, had doubts about making my T-shirt goal, and my roommate broke her hand trying to help someone get out of a crashed car. However, despite it all the Lord has been teaching me how to have faith and to be still. I got through the entire ridge without falling once, learned how to change the donut wheel in exchange for the flat tire, called 911 and saw the ambulance come to aid the motorcycle accident (don’t know what the outcome was, but praying that he survived) achieved my T-shirt goal thanks to the wonderful people at Bonfire Funds, and brought my roommate some food in the ER after finding out that she did not have to get surgery on her hand. God is so, so faithful. All of these things that happened, I believe are preparing me for the World Race. Many of my friends and family are concerned about my safely while I’ll be traveling overseas, but bad things happen even while I’m in the U.S. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I worry about the potential hazards that could happen, but the Lord is with me, wherever I go. He knows the desires of my heart, He knows how much I long to see the nations, He knows how much I love to love His people, and ultimately He knows how much I would love to live a long and happy life full of experiences and stories to tell.

Thanks so much for reading, blogging is really hard when I’m writing about myself and my thoughts, I hope to get better at it as times goes on. My next post will be about current fundraisers that I have planned for May. Stay tuned, love you guys!

Warmly, B.
