Because of the generosity of a supporter, I was able to bless each child in my class at Murray Camp Preschool with a new pencil, sharpener, eraser, and kinder egg (includes candy and a toy). I can hardly describe to you the joy and anticipation on their faces as they waited in line and held their little hands out for their gift.
Kids began to exclaim, “It’s Christmas! It’s Christmas!” When I handed their teacher a gift as well, the kids shouted, “Teacher! It’s your birthday!!” To think, a few new school supplies and a piece of candy evoked Christmas morning excitement.
After all the kids received their gifts, they began to sing, “oh! I am so happy!” I captured a short bit of it on video and wanted to share with you. I will never forget the feeling in my heart as these little ones so gratefully received what I never even realized was a blessing as a child.
