HELLO EVERYONE!
I don’t have too much time to write, but I wanted to send out a quick update. Currently I am here in United Arab Emmerites where we spent the night on a layover. I actually just got back from a quick tour of the Palace, Beach and a humungous mosque! Fun times on little sleep! Half of our squad has already arrived, the rest of us will take off in a few hours from here to head off to INDIA! Our LAST continent! Ahh can you believe it!? I’m really excited for the 100 degree heat and new ministry!!! Seriously! 🙂
No, I did not forget about all the Malawian stories that I have to share with everyone. I actually have two blogs written already but unfortunatley I’m not able to post them here so you’ll have to wait til later! No worries though..they are still on their way! It was bitter sweet leaving Africa, probably more sweet due to the latest circumstances, but all in all our time there was well spent. I can truly say I am not the same person I was when I arrived to Africa 3 and a half months ago. The Lord changed me completely while I was there and also did an incredible work in the communities we worked with! PRAISE GOD!
Lastly, I just want to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for all your prayers and support during our time in Africa especially this past week as it’s been difficult for all of us dealing with the armed robbery. Pray that we can face the reality of the issues and not just ignore what happened, it could be a long road, but the Lord will def pull us through and grow relationships stronger than ever through it. We do just continue to praise Him daily for His goodness and protection that night! I ask that ya’ll can continue to pray for emotional healing in that, as well as for our time in India.
*NOTE* Not sure what internet looks like in India, however I do know that it is a ‘closed country’ to Christianity. That could very likely mean no blogging for 5 weeks. Just a little FYI. I didn’t get lazy, or forget ya’ll back home! haha. Guaranteed stories to come your way about what the Lord has been doing and will be doing in India as soon as I get the ‘go-ahead’ with the internet!!!! Maybe if you’re really really lucky then it won’t be a closed country and you’ll have stories to read all month long… maybe ya’ll should pray for that one too! haha
