Flashback from 2 weeks ago: Day one on
the boat.

It was an exciting day, starting a
brand new ministry just really antsy to see what was in store for us.
Our team started off the morning with a prayer walk. We stopped,
prayed and listened. Matt heard the word up. So we just kept going
up. At one point our group spilit. Matt and I continued up, up, up
through this tranquil quiet little town. We made it to the top of a
big hill then there it was…a beautiful valley, green, jungly and at
the top of the other side was a small town. Alright let’s go!!

As we made our way down then back up
the enourmous hill we cracked up, joking about how funny it would be
to have to walk there everyday for our ministry. When we made it to
the town called Senor de Milagros (God of Miracles), we saw this
little boy dragging himself along the sidewalk and we watched him go
in his house. We both knew we were supposed to go here, but
hesitated, but then finally went in.

We talked with this family for an hour
or so. They told us about their town. Sixty percent of girls here in
this town between the ages of 10-20 use the Ouiji board, and that’s
just the girls. Many kids use it for ‘good luck’ in classes, stupid
lie Satan! However, unfortunately many youth are now in jail as a
consequence for what came from this game. Unbeleivable. We continued
in a great time of fellowship with them. After we prayed for them the
older woman looked at her daughter and said, “That’s the reason we
saw the butterfly this morning.” The daughter then told me that
there was a butterfly this morning that came in their home which here
means something beautiful will come that day. They continued telling
us they knew a man and woman were going to come and they’d been
sitting there waiting for us all morning. Clinching it all, they
said, “you are our something beautiful.”

None stop smiling and excitement filled
our conversation as we walked home. We marveled at His goodness and
rejoiced the whole way home. We were for sure this was our ministry!
Sold. 100% No doubt. This was our family! Our divine appointment.

…That night was our first church
service and yours truly here was to bring the word. By the power of
the Holy Spirit I spoke and shared about my identity being stripped
away…in Spanish! It was really awesome. Again on the way home, I
was smiling so much it hurt. Day 1 of ministry was amazing, the Lord
is SO incredible.

For sure everyday here would be THISSSSSS good!….
