Well, to be honest I did not physically put out a fire but the men of my team and the men of Fierce Pursuit did. I did help watch the children and bring up buckets of water. The land around the orphanage where we are staying this month caught on fire earlier today and as scary as it was it was beautiful to see the men and women of both teams come together along with the staff here and put out the fire. To destroy this land. While I was helping one of my teammates carry a bucket of water it hit me that no this place will not be destroyed by fire because this place belongs to the Lord. What this fire taught me was that the Lord is faithful and nothing can come against what is His. This fire also reminded me of the power of prayer. The night before the girls of my team decided to go around our house and up to the gate to pray for this entire organization. The day of the fire was one full of prayer and it is beautiful to see that God truly answers prayer. This day made me think of this post from His Princess Love Letters from the Your King….

My Princess… Pray with Power
My anointed one, you have the power to move a mountain that stands in someone’s way. If you will take the time to pray, My Princess prayer warrior, I’ve given you authority to call on Me, the God of the universe, to intervene on your behalf! Don’t exhaust yourself trying to fix people or problems in your own strength. I am the one who can make a way when there appears to be no way. So don’t underestimate the power in your prayer just because your eyes cannot see Me. Call on ME by faith, and know that I will come.
Love,
Your King and Father of miracles

You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, because the work of the Son brings glory to the Father. Yes, ask anything in my name, and I will do it!
