“You won’t relent until you have it all, my heart is yours…” Laying on the floor while singing these lyrics the Lord spoke to me in the most beautiful voice and said “I love your heart and I did it, I brought you here.” Once again it hit me that the World Race is a reality, I am actually living out one of my dreams. When I was in fifth grade my teacher asked us what our goals were and I vividly remember writing traveling the world and telling them about Jesus. My God so beautifully loves me that he is allowing me to accomplish that goal.
Last night the words to that song became a reality. Countless times we find ourselves in the midst of worship services singing these songs and we are actually not honoring God because we do not mean the words that are coming out of our mouths. So many times we are caught up in the act of worship that we do not realize the magnitude of the words we are shouting out. I am guilty of singing songs without truly meaning them. Last night was the first time in a long time that I meant what I was singing. My prayer was “God my heart is yours, do as you wish, I am ready!” I am ready for my life to be rocked by the Lord. I yearn to know him in such an intimate way that I am only satisfied in him. I want to be so in sync with the Spirit that I do not question the path that he is leading me on
