India was a month that truly challenged me. It was the first month I actually felt like I was on the race. Yet my favorite moment this month happened our last week of ministry. Actually that was the only day the last week that I was able to go to ministry because I got sick with an infection in my intestines. Well, Monday we went to a pretty far village and it was quite an ordeal getting there. We finally arrive at the village and we are treated with the best care. We were brought coffee and fruit through out the day. As we were walking around the village sharing the gospel and praying for people my team leader asked me to share the gospel at the next house. I had given words of encouragement and read scripture throughout the month but not actually given the gospel presentation yet. It's safe to say I was nervous. I gave the message to two women and they both gave their hearts to Jesus. After they accepted Christ the pastor sat down and explained the

importance of water baptism. Then later that day we were told we were going to some water baptisms.  When we got to the river the pastor asked me if I wanted to assist in the baptism of the two women that accepted Christ earlier that day. It was an honor to participate in such an important step in these women's life.

This day truly taught me that one should never be afraid or nervous to share the gospel. The word of God is truth, it is life, and it is all powerful. It is a beautiful experience to watch transformation happen before your eyes. This day helped remind me that all the struggles and hardships are worth it when we can share the gospel and see people saved. I was reminded that the sole purpose I came on this trip was to reach the unsaved, to share the love of Christ to others. I did not come to be comfortable, I did not come to find myself, or anything like that because it is not about me, it's about bringing glory to God and God alone.
