ANNNDDDD Introducing my team is “Ahavah (ah-ha-vah)”

We finally got our teams formed here at training camp for at least the first 3 months of the race. I felt super at peace when I found out who was on my team. I was feeling very anxious about who I was going to be on my team, but God works in great ways and put me on a team of all girls who are so kind and gentle. The theme of our team was a gentle strength. I felt this to be so true and I am so excited to do life with these girls and to get to know them even better. Our leaders only chance these groups when lead by the Holy Spirit, which is awesome.
I would love to introduce them to you so keep reading!
Meet Kyndal! She is from San Angelo Texas and she is 25. Her favorite candy is torelli sour brit eggs. The thing that she is most excited about the race is the experiences that she will make with her team (that’s us!!) and the people that she will encounter on the race. One thing she is nervous about is being away from friends and family.
Meet Jasmine! She is from Chicago Illinois and she is 28. Her favorite candy is dark chocolate. The thing that she is most excited about the race is to explore the world that God created, build new relationships, and serve others. One thing she is nervous about it is accidentally doing more harm than good in the communities we are going into.
Meet Britt! She is from Grand Junction Colorado and she is 25. Her favorite candy is salt water butter toffee. The thing she is most excited about the race is traveling the world and helping people. The thing she is most nervous about is being away from her chiropractor.
Meet Aundraya! She is from Nashville Tennessee and is 29 years old. Her favorite candy is peanut butter M&Ms. The thing she is most excited for the race is sharing hope, sharing the gospel, and serving others. The thing that she is most nervous about is being in community 24/7.
And finally, last but certainly not least the baby on our team Mal! She is from Memphis Tennessee. She is 21. Her favorite candy is KitKat. The thing she is most excited about the race is seeing Cambodia. The thing that she is most nervous about is fundraising.
Well, that is my team! I am so excited to get to know them more and see how God will work through our team and make us more strong and united as one over this next year. More to come.
Love you all!

P.S. If you are wondering what Ahavah means it is the word love in Hebrew. Our team felt a common theme in our group of gentle strength and we wanted our team name to represent both the word gentle and strength and we thought love was the best representation of these two.
