A little update on what’s been going on in my life…
So on the World Race, the leadership team typically implements team changes around every 3-5 months or so. They pray over the new teams and really put a lot of effort into shaping and placing each individual on those teams. At the beginning on this month I had to said goodbye to my old team and hello to my new team!
I was so excited to find out who was on my new team. When I read the names on the sheet of paper given to me by leadership, I knew right away that this was going to be a good team. We ran up to each other and gave each other all super big hugs! We connected right away. That same day we all agreed on our team name: SONshine. Yes the spelling is with an O to point back to Jesus the Son of God. We chose this name and this spelling because we each felt like we all shined a different part of Jesus. Additionally, we liked the idea of sunshine because we all right a way felt a lightness and joy about our team dynamic. I already love these woman so much and am so excited to get to know them and do life with them. I totally feel like God put me on a team with them for a reason.
Without further ado let me introduce you to these amazing woman:

This month, our team is working with a church called Victory Church here in Siem Reap. Our days consist of traveling by Tuk-Tuk 45 minutes out of the city to a remote village. There we do community outreach, lead bible studies, and teach the children English. Stay tune for a future blog on more of what we are doing this month!
Love always,
B
