Hey family!!
I wanted to do a shorter blog update. I am currently serving in Nicaragua with an organization called Vision Nicaragua. I have absolutely loved this month!!! We have had the opportunity to work in local village clinics, door to door evangelism, and children’s ministry as well as adult ministry. This month has been stretching in moments with services and evangelism but has been so incredible thus far!
In some of the villages we have been to they know about Jesus but there have been a few villages that have never heard of Jesus. Some of them know the “story of Jesus” but really that’s all they know. They understand that His name is powerful and He’s God…but they don’t know about Him or how He gave His life in love for them. So it’s been really awesome being able to shed light on who Jesus really is and how incredible it is that He loves them so much He sent us to their village and their houses to tell them. When we’ve prayed over them and we do so in English, the Holy Spirit moves in their hearts sometimes to tears and other times to joy. And we have even had some accept Jesus into their life!!! It’s been so awesome to see!!!!
I’m so proud to be a part of this squad who truly seeks after the Lord and has a heart for the lost!!
I feel like time has been FLYING!! I can’t believe we are almost into Month 3! wow!!
But here’s why I am writing this shorter blog. 1. Because I wanted to keep you update on our current ministry (another blog to come soon with that) but 2. because I have a deadline quickly approaching! On November 22nd, I have a deadline of $13,000. Which means I still need $1,430 to meet that deadline.
If I don’t meet these deadlines, yes they have grace, but I could be sent home early from the race. I know the Lord has called me here. As challenging as it is, there’s no doubt in my mind that I am called to be here for this season.
So if you have ever thought about giving but haven’t had a chance to yet, you can do so directly on this blog and it’s tax-deductible!
