When I returned home in 2012 from my 5 month study with YWAM (youth with a mission discipleship program) where I lived 3 months in Denver and 2 months in India the question of the hour was “WHERE TO NEXT?!”
At that time I had no idea. I had just served in India in the red light district and I knew I wanted to work in it more so I would say….
“I want to run a daycare in the Red Light District of Thailand”
And at that time I didn’t believe it would happen, I knew for some reason Thailand was HEAVY on my heart but I didn’t know why nor did I EVER think I would be there.
Well here I am now 5 years after saying those words….living in Thailand for a month. When I originally choose the route it was for 2 main reasons, Thailand and Uganda!
And man can I say I LOVE THAILAND!!!! We’ve only been here a week (tomorrow) and I just love it so much. Everyone keeps asking what do you love and why? It’s so hard to answer that question. I feel like the culture is so rich here, people are so kind, it’s a pretty safe place. I feel totally at ease here. Yes there is a lot of spiritual darkness but boy this place is great!
We are serving with an organization this month who work with women in the red light district…Here’s what my ministry looks like this month….
We running a daycare/VBS here for children. Their mother’s have been rescued from trafficking here in Thailand.
Did you just read that last statement…..I’m helping run a daycare for children who’s mothers have been rescued from the red light district of Thailand!!! We are also helping with other aspects of this ministry such as going to the bars to meet women and offer them a way out as well as serving in the local church. However our main focus is the children throughout the week! (Not to mention myself a 2 other teammates are working with Special needs children! Could this get any better?!?!?!?!)
WOW!!!! I’ve been totally floored this month by God. I’ve been in a “rough patch” cause I’m started to get tired physically, emotionally, and spiritually but
GOD IS A PROMISE KEEPER!!!
A silly little dream that I spoke out 5 years ago, God fulfilled for me this month! I never thought it would ever be possible…but here I am while God proves anything really is possible!!!
Thank you to all those who have given and encouraged me and pushed me to go on this crazy race thing. It’s been a challenge to say the least, but God is so so so good!!!!

These women create so many different items such as jewelry, clothes for adults and little ones, as well as cards, dolls and more! I’ve personally watched them create a lot of these items and this is their new job! SO SO AWESOME! If you want to support them this is the best way! Or you can message me and we can work out a way to possibly get specific items from their actual shop here! ???? (seriously trying not to spend ALL my money here!!! Hahaha)

If you could keep me in prayer, as I mentioned above, I’m getting tired. So I just need renewed strength to keep pushing through 5 more months!
Keep our team in your prayers as we venture into pretty dark areas this month during ministry, and that whenever people see us they truly see Jesus
Pray for these women who work in various bars that they would know their worth, they are loved and wanted by Papa! And courage to take steps forward in leaving that life and entering into a new work through our ministry!
