It’s so funny how God works!!! He is truly ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS!!!!!
Let me tell you!
I had the opportunity right after I applied for The Race to speak with my Pastor, who’s a spiritual father to me, share my plans, and prayerfully receive his blessing for this trip (Which I did!
). Well as I’m telling him all about my plans for this next year of my life, he starts to laugh and shows me that he had the World Race website currently up on his computer!! (I was floored!!! and couldn’t help but just laugh at God in the details!) He explained to me that another young adult at our church, Kennedi, had stopped him that night and asked about it too! I kind of knew her because we had been a part of Freedom MMA training together for a few weeks, but I wasn’t really sure WHO she was. (which training with Freedom MMA is a whole other funny story about God in the details all in itself!)
Well that night I connected with her, and we had a short opportunity to share our hearts about why we were going, She is going on the GAP year September race. We shared contact information and the rest is history!!!
Here I was thinking I was stepping out ALL BY MYSELF, and here God was in the details, reminding us that WE ARE NOT ALONE!!!!
So I know you are probably looking at the title and thinking, this has nothing to do with envelopes?! But just wait IT DOES!!
Today was began our first fundraiser together! It’s super easy for all people involved!!! Basically we put together envelopes with $$ amounts from 1-150 (and a few higher ones too)…and all you have to do is come up, pick an amount and fill the envelope!!(you can fill it by yourself, or a group can go in and fill it together). SUPER SUPER EASY (shout out to my youth pastor, Preston and Lindsey for this idea 
)!! and at the end of the fundraiser (May 29th) Kennedi and I will be splitting the amount!
Whether you are near or far you can participate!! All you have to do is tell us which amount you would like to give. You can give it directly to us right here online!! ( Kennedi’s Blog << make sure you subscribe to her blog, you’ll be glad you did)!!!

God has been teaching me so many things in the preparation season! I’ll share some more that really soon! I’m learning to get better and better at this blog thing! Give me some time and you will be totally up to date with my life!!
