Lockin' It In
So for the last three months I've been talking a lot about leaving (essentially for as long as I've known about this trip) and you're probably beginning to wonder if and when I'm actually going to start doing all the things I've been talking about. Valid question.
Well thanks for sticking with me for all the big picture stuff! Today I"m happy to overwhelm you with way too much information about my first set of concrete plans.
July 9th, 2011
10:00pm – Hop on the Greyhound (new experience!) to Chicago, IL.
11:00pm – Call eveyrone for the last time!
1:00am – Attempt sleep
July 10th, 2011
5:45am CST – Grab the train to O'Hare
6:45am CST – Arm myself with Starbucks 😀
7:00am CST – Wander around lost..gauranteed.
8:48am CST – Get it together & to the right spot.
9:45am CST – Depart for JFK in Queens, NY
1:55pm EST – Arrive at JFK and meet up with our team leaders and financial reps
6:00pm EST – Peace out of the USA and to our first stop, Bucharest, Romania
Packin' It Up
Curious about what all is making "the list" for my backpack? Me, too. Whatever I decide I definitely need to keep it under 50 lbs – 30 in some countries – and must include my tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, eating utensils, clothing, and anything else I need to get me through life this next year.
