Oh Lei Lei!
There is a special little song we learned at training camp, which we have managed to bring to every country so far. Okay, that's only two countries, but go with me on this. So to keep tradition we performed/taught it to the kids at camp one week. See below for some priceless footage. This is a picture of us jamming out to it at the bonfire on the last night of camp for the kids. Sorry parents, your kids will be singing this for a few weeks I am afraid!
MYOM (Make Your Own Meal)
Finally! A Chance to have some control over our diets. This week has been a blast in the kitchen, as camp is out and we are let loose to make our own food. We get to grab ingredients from the camp kitchen, and make whatever we want in our apartment. Its been sa-weet and this is a picture of Em and I decking out some garlic bread and Cody dicing up onions for family pasta dinner. Mmmmmmm
Whatcha Workin On?
So now that camp it out for the summer, we have a lot of clean up to do. Its weird having the grounds so empty, but its been fun to rock out and do our own thing. This week we've cleaned out all of the buildings, mowed the lawn, hoed, weeded, welded, and best of all – painted! We are working on sprucing up some old benches in this picture. Good times!
Rollin' Out
Next week we fly outa here to India. My team is working at an orphanage in New Dehli. Get excited! We've had such a great month here in Romania, which is a blessing for sure. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we prepare for some culture shock as we leave the EU!
