Juuuuust in case you haven't seen enough cute kids today, take a look at these beautiful faces…

I have loveloved getting to run around and be crazy with all these precious children. There is something so amazing about a childs absolute trust and innocence. Even in places like this, where children have already experienced things no child should ever have to go through. Despite their situations they still look at you with those big, excited eyes and a huge toothy grin. It just melts your heart, right?

"But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16
It's amazing how much love can be translated with just a hug and a smile. Or a hand clapping game. The girls here are obsessed with this simple hand clap that they taught me. We do it in Spanish and English, or sometimes both at the same time. It's silly and so simple, but every time they run up and beg to do it, I just pray over them while we are playing. That the Lord would protect them and their families. That these random white people that showed up in their village wouldn't be the only Jesus they ever hear or see. That amidst a hard life they would have overwhelming joy and happiness. The faith of a child is so pure and simple, and I pray that they would keep that mindset the rest of their lives.
Tomorrow is our last full day at Casa de Sion – crazy! We'll head to Antigua for a few days and next week will be on our way to Honduras!!! I can't believe month 1 is almost over. As always, thank you so much for the love and prayers! More pics and stories to come this weekend!! Lots of love! xo.
