The low down.
Hi beautiful friends and fam!! I want to fill you guys in on how my support raising is going! I am so excited to share with you that I have officially passed my 1/2 way goal!! As of this moment I have $8,644.25 in my support account! Incredible, right??? The Lord has been so gracious to me in this time and has brought some amazing people into my life that catch the vision of what we're doing and want to be part of it. I'm so overwhelmed by the generosity I have been recieving – from people I've know forever and some that i've never even met. Such an incredible blessing!!
Yardsale wrap-up.
Before having my yardsale last week I prayed 3 things: 1. that the rain would stay away 2. that I would be able to share with new people about my trip and 3. that it would be financially blessed. It's like God heard me and thought 'gee her prayers are cute. i'm gonna blow her mind.' And he did. The tropical storm that was heading our way? Dissapeared. No rain, just glorious sunshine. The people that came? TONS! This is a really small town and you think you know everyone, but so many people I had never met came and I was able to talk to them and share some Jesus love! The money? $1800. Yeah, that's right – from a yard sale. Crazy, huh?? Agree. Huge shoutout to my parentals for voluntarily baking themselves in the 100 degree heat to help me all day, and to everyone that donated things for me to sell and stopped by to support. THANK YOU!!!!

I mean lets be serious, who doesn't love some bar-b-que? I've bribed my grandaddy into making his famous pulled pork for you and anyone you know to come and eat on Friday, September 2. All dinners will be pre-sold and available for pick up between 12 – 6pm at FBC Umatilla. Call me at 352.636.5003 if you want tickets! Or let me know if I can convince you to sell tickets at your place of employment. Trust me, I can be pretty convincing. Lunch time delivery available to businesses with orders of 10 or more. Tickets $8 each.
