I just booked my flight for Atlanta, GA a few days ago, I leave Sunday, Sept 4th! I currently have a total of 7706.75, meaning….. I HAVE MET THE SECOND DEADLINE AND I AM LAUCHING THIS SEPTEMBER! AND I have my shots as well as my malaria pills for the year!This is so incredible! Everything is happening so fast, and I have a little less than a month left in the United States!
But that still doesn’t mean I am done. I need another $7,100 MORE to be fully funded. I’ve been surprised by how I’ve been blessed so far; I can’t wait to see how the rest comes in.
I am looking for people that are willing to give up a Starbucks coffee, an Inn-n-Out burger, or even packs of gum monthly to support this mission. I know this seems like very little to you but if a lot of people give a little it of money, it’s still a lot of money!
On that note, I am not against you giving me a large sum of money. 😉
I will be having a Yard Sale at my cousin’s house on August 13th to help raise more funds! Please pray that a lot of people will show up and buy up everything that is there. 🙂 And come out and support!
In other news, my team leader Nick, contacted our team today with our ministry assignment for our time in the Philippines. We will be working with Kids International Ministries. There we will be working with orphans, government displaced children, and street kids. My team (Fuego de Dios) will be working together with Nikao, another awesome team from the Z-Squad!
