With Honduras… Before leaving Guatemala I was dreading coming here. I thought it was going to be difficult for me since I am introverted and all 41 members of Z Squad, 8 members of Passport, and our ministry contacts and the boys at Zion’s Gate would be here, but luckily I was wrong.
I am head over heels in love with this country and everyone I’ve met here. Within the first three days here I had one-on-one time with a few of the boys at Zion’s Gate and they told me their personal stories.
All of these boys were once street kids. Most of them were heavily involved in drugs and alcohol abuse, some were even involved in gangs. The boys here range from ages 12-18.
Being here and talking to these boys I feel like I am part of their family, as if I am their cousin, or even their older sister. I have love them so much so that I don’t think people can understand the depth of my love.

I love hearing their stories and hearing the radical changes that the have had in their lives. It gives me hope. Hope for all teens, male or female, here or abroad that are in their very situation.
I see their love. I see their yearning to get closer to God. I see their willing hearts to serve and tell people about the truth and liberty they have received from Jesus.
I LOVE THEM.
They have so much desire.
They have so much potential.
They have so much love.
I think if you all saw these boys and got to interact with them on a daily basis like I do, you would fall completely head over heels for these kids. I am excited to be here this month and excited what God has for the boys here and for Z-Squad as well as Passport.
I LOVE HONDRUAS!
