1. Shock and despair: After looking at your packing list, other racers' packing lists and the growing mound of supplies by your bags it's hard to remain positive and you may experience a little bit of fear.

2. Denial and Procrastination: You will want to put off packing for as long as possible by looking for multiple ways to distract yourself.

3. Exhaustion: At some point you may even have the urge to lay on the floor and give up. Sing this song to yourself and keep going!

4. Crazy Determination: Newly motivated from the song you will begin shoving and pushing every object into your pack no matter the size. You talk yourself into bringing EVERYTHING.

5. Reality Check: One brief moment of accomplishment is soon followed by a zipper popping and hitting you in the face. You realize you need to rethink you strategy and cut a couple things off the final list.

6. Celebration: You do a little happy dance because….IT ALL FITS! And it wasn't even all that scary…..

7….Until you notice the giant bottle of malaria medicine, that should be in you medicine pouch carefully placed in the bottom of your pack, sitting behind you on the floor.

Overall Lesson: YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
