God is good, and he is so FAITHFUL! I am very thankful to share on June 4, 2019 I became fully funded for the World Race. The significance of this day was that it was the first official day of my WR journey, how amazing is that!! My fundraising process over this past year has been stretching, but my greatest take away has been experiencing the constant faithfulness of God. I never would have thought I would need to raise $19,200, let alone leave the country for a year to travel abroad for a greater purpose. Sometimes the unexpected doors in life lead to the greatest adventures and deepest growth.
God did the unexpected with fundraising. I could share story after story of his provision in the craziest of ways; not by coincidence but simply by his gracious provision. Not through individuals I expected to donate, rather through divine appointments that God placed beforehand.
Another unexpected thing God revealed to me during this fundraising process was that all conversations didn’t revolve around money. In fact, they were more about revealing who God is and how He was working in my life!
In the beginning of fundraising there were so many unknowns. Though there were many unknowns, I can honestly say my faith and trust in the Lord never wavered. I didn’t know how the funds would come in, I didn’t know when the funds would come in and I didn’t know how to even approach others about donations. I trusted if God called me here, he would provide. My faith rested in Christ alone and with that I was able to remain steadfast.
Again, I am headed into the unknown and what I have found is when God does the unexpected, it allows us to discover more of Him and live life more for Him.
Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
**Thank you, donors for your generosity and support. I am so excited for OURjourney ahead!
For the sake of His name,
Bailey 🙂
