After trying to post this for 4 hours, it finally worked! Not today Satan!
Today starting at 1 pm (Central time zone) until 7 am on Tuesday, February 13th, we will be having a prayer burn! We all signed up for an hour slot from 1 pm- 7 am to pray. We will be praying over Cicrin (Safe Home for children), for the kids who live here, for the staff, and for the community.
Something huge I have learned in the past 7 months is how powerful prayer is. I had also never experienced spiritual warfare like this before either. Since we have arrived here, many of us started noticing a darkness. After hearing stories of what this land was used for years ago, it makes sense why there is spiritual warfare here. Please also add prayers of defeating this darkness.
This month, I have discovered what it means to be a prayer warrior. I wanted to post this short blog to ask you to come alongside us, in whatever country you may be in, to pray with us! Prayer connects us further with the Father and is so so powerful. A few things you can pray for is my team, the 3 other teams here, the staff at the orphanage, the kids, the construction going on at the school, the teachers, and for the donors who donate to Cicrin.
