Lay down your heart, Come as you are…
Interested in knowing my fears, my favorites things, my thoughts and my desires? You are in the right place! I strive to be transparent and real in my writing. Being completely vulnerable to God allows Him to work in me. I also believe that being entirely honest in my blog will show my true characteristics and struggles to others and will ultimately show others his light!
With that being said, here is a little about me!
I love coffee!
I gravitate towards purple things & elephants .
Crooked things bother me.
I have a traveler’s heart.
My stress reliever is baking & cooking.
When I was 11 years old, I became a Christian, but did not start growing forward in my faith until high school. A huge portion of my testimony has to do with realizing that filling my heart with the world will only leave me devastated, and how my first love, Jesus, is the only true way to fill that hole in my heart.
You can most likely find me at one of the many coffee shops in good ol’ Lubbock, TX. I am a junior at Texas Tech University (Wreck ‘em!) and classified under Pre-Nursing. I will be applying for nursing school after the Race and my heart lies in the Labor & Delivery.
I am a MESS.
I am broken.
But, I am joyful about my imperfections, for his power is made perfect through MY weakness.
He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9
