My name is Bailey Lackey I am senior in High School. I will be going to college to become a nurse and then working with Doctors Abroad once I have graduated. I have decided to take a one year break between high school and College to attending the 2016 Gap year. This is a 9 month mission trip through the World Race program, in which I will be traveling to Thailand, Zambia, and Guatemala. I know this is my calling and what I am supposed to do to take my next steps in my faith with Jesus Christ. He has called me to help those who are in desperate need. Through this 9 month period I will be facing some rough things. In Thailand I will be ministering to girls caught in sex trafficking . In Zambia I will be loving on children and adults who are dying of AID/HIV. In Guatemala I will be spreading the love of God by showing his grace and worthiness to this poverty stricken region. It’s a dangerous world out there but if no one stands up, goes out and does something to help those who need help then nothing will ever change. I want to do my part to change the world for the better. Even if it’s just one persons heart I can touch. It’s that one person who can spread the word of God to others and so on.
