I just completed my freshman year of college at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix AZ and had an incredible year of learning, friendships, and college lacrosse. But God has interrupted my plans and asked me to GO.
I began my research for the upcoming year by looking into The World Race Gap Year. The World Race is a 9-month mission trip for college students hosted by Adventures in Missions. I can’t think of a more perfect way to spend the next 9 months of my life than to travel the world and serve those who need it most.
I’m excited to show love to those who may have never felt it, feed children that have known hunger for more days than they can remember, and build houses for families that don’t know what it is like to sleep with a roof over their heads.
As I am preparing for my trip, I am constantly watching God provide. I have so much faith that this year of my life will not only be spent serving others, but growing personally as I abandon the common luxuries we are so accustomed to in a privileged country. I can’t wait to experience all that God has for me in these 9 incredible months on The World Race.
Will you join me with your payers and support?
