As you know i’ve been on the field for almost two months now…crazy right. Well you have heard a couple of the stories and what life and ministry looks like, but what you haven’t heard yet is who are these people walking alongside me through it all. This is all the girls that have become my sisters.
Meet Tierney: She is someone with such a sympathetic and loving heart for the people around her. She has a presence and voice that people are encouraged by and just naturally listen to. She see’s with the Lord’s eyes. She sees hurt, difficulty, and when people need love. T doesn’t just see this and move on, she does something about it. She has such a willingness to get on people’s level and bring them back up.
Meet Alexandra: This is our mom. She cares for us, always shares food even when we aren’t complaining about being hungry, and does whatever she can to make us feel better. She has such a sweet soul. Alexandra doesn’t let anyone around her steal her joy. I don’t know how she does it but I definitely think her and her energy runs off of love.
Meet Sarah: She is someone that’s freaking awesome at bringing different people and groups together. Sarah makes the people around her feel loved and welcomed. She always knows the right things to say and will always give you a new perspective on how to go about things in the right way. Sarah Cartee is Q Squad’s #1 hype girl and will always get you pumped for what you’re doing.
Meet Maggie: This girl’s heart just does not stop. She is so intentional with the people around her and every time I see Maggie start a relationship with someone it is always something special. Maggie is such a fun person to be around and her spirit of joy truly makes people just happy when they’re around her. The more you know Maggie the more you love her.
Meet Mack: She has such a hunger for the Lord and growth. Mack is someone that sees difficultly and doesn’t let that stop her. She is constantly stepping into her everyday life more and more with such a strength and boldness that can only come from the Lord. If you walk into a room with Mack you are going to be loved and welcomed. It doesn’t matter who you are; whether you are the center of the party or the quietest person in the room, she will make you feel loved.
Meet Taylor: She is someone that you can always trust is telling you the truth because she will tell you exactly what is on her mind. Taylor brings such a fun energy to the group, and is always so sweet, fun, and full of love. She takes charge and doesn’t let needs get pushed to the side. She is full of passion and perseverance.
Meet Hallie: This girl is a peacemaker. She always fills the room with such a calming presence, but you won’t walk away from a conversation with Hallie without laughing. She has the perfect balance of love and humor, and can make anyone feel comfortable around her. She has such a want for herself and the people around her to grow and then actually does something about it.
These girls are warriors and I can’t wait to see all the things the Lord is going to do through them. I love my sisters and I don’t know what I would do without them.
