This is a prayer to my team.
You may wonder why I wouldn’t just give it directly to them, or why I would post this for y’all to see. But I am writing this in order to hopefully inspire you to sit and pray over the place you’re in and the people you’re with. To remind you of the power and necessity for prayer in daily life. So here we go.
Lord I thank you for handpicking each one of these girls to be part of this journey with me. I thank you that you’ve given them different gifts designed to come together as a unified front to further your Kingdom. This is a group of warriors, of women, of daughters, of bold vessels. Papa I pray unity over this group. I pray that each and everyday we would become love with each other and to the world we are surrounded by. Allow each breath we breathe to come from you. Make each word we speak not only be glorifying to you but only be from you. Papa I know that the words we speak have power, and if the words we are speaking are of you I can’t even fathom the power and impact they have. I ask that we would fight to speak with words that are as sweet as honey and as powerful as the ocean waves. As we listen and watch the world around us give us hearts that first respond with love and grace. Fill this team with the knowledge and understanding of just how powerful your love in us can be. Overwhelm this family with your strength and perseverance. Thank you for these girls. I pray that each and everyone of us would choose humility, would choose servanthood, would choose to step up and into opportunities you bring about in order for your will to be done.

I know that each one of you have said yes to what the Lord has for you. You’ve said yes to this journey, said yes to the calling, said yes to the dreams the Lord has dreamt up for you. So don’t turn away now. Don’t sit in places where you’re supposed to stand and don’t hold onto things that were not meant for you. Instead find freedom in your expectancy of the Lord’s promises. Fight for these things, and allow yourself to live in the inheritance. Open your eyes to the glimpses of Heaven, the glimpses of the Lord that surrounds you constantly. His spirit fills and overwhelms the places that you step into. This isn’t by coincidence that we’ve been placed together. So continue fighting for community. Continue becoming love, and building the Kingdom through encouragement, grace, and humility. You show that you are His disciples by the way you love each other. So continue showing the world what loving each other can do. Keep showing just how much light is brought to those dark places through the grace of the Lord. I love you ladies more than I can describe!
