This is officially the first fundraiser guys! Fundraising is quite stressful and a little scary because you have that unsettling thought of “what if I don’t raise all the money?”. But then God steps in and reminds me that He is the all powerful and mighty God who will help me to succeed and ease my anxieties.
I have had the cool opportunity to get to know my fellow racers by chatting with them on the GroupMe app which is really cool to talk to people who are going through the same things you are and who I will live with for nine months! We have all discussed fundraising ideas and a majority have come to a liking for Buy A Box. Soooo here is how it works. I have this grand poster board with 100 boxes drawn that represent that monetary value (for example box 62= $62). If God is calling you to support me financially then you can choose whatever box you please that isn’t already crossed out and donate here on my blog by clicking the “Support Me” button. Hopefully every box will be sold and that in itself will raise $5,050!!! That’s almost halfway there folks!
However, if you don’t feel that you can support me financially at this time then I just ask if you don’t mind to support me in prayer. Please pray that I will be able to raise all the support that I need and that I will achieve this with little anxiety. Pray for me and my fellow racers that we become prepared for the race of a lifetime. Pray that our eyes will be opened and our hearts will be changed. Pray for Albania, the Philippines, and South Africa that the people there would feel encouraged and that their eyes would be opened by the salvation of Jesus.
