Hello friends and family!
As you know I am now HOME!
The transition home has been hard. It’s different, and I’m still trying to figure out my new routines, and my new way of life.
Ultimately, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has been apart of this journey. I’ve received a lot of great feedback about my blogs, and want to say that I will continue to blog on this platform with world race related subjects. I also may be starting a separate blog!? (stay tuned!)
As far as re-entry goes…I have been having trouble figuring out the words to say. I don’t even know where to begin. Re-entry sucks. It was worse than leaving. And unfortunately, no amount of processing before you get home can possibly prepare you for the feelings you’ll actually experience when you do get home.
I could probably ramble and ramble about all the things that make re-entry hard, but to be honest I don’t really feel like it. I think the main thing I need right now is prayer as I transition into the literal unknown…which is maybe the most difficult part, not knowing what’s next.
Thank you for partnering in prayer as I figure out the next steps for my life (where to live, where to work, go to school or not go to school, blahhh).
To let you in a little more clearly, here are the two options that I’m currently wrestling with:
CGA – Center for Global Action with Adventures in Missions in Gainesville, GA which is a 5 month leadership program starting January 18th.
Grad school at George Fox University starting January 14th studying Marriage/Family counseling.
Side note: staying sane until January.
Thank you for the prayers! I greatly appreciate it.
God Bless!
