Idaho…is the Shoshone Indian word meaning “Gem of the Mountains.” For real, I know people think that were just known for our potatoes and our blue football field. But what Idaho lacks in famous people, it makes up in beauty and GREAT Traffic!! Personally I think its one of the most underrated states ever. Yes we don’t have a Professional athletic team or a beach (if you don’t count our 213 lakes). But, we do have a canyon deeper then the one in Arizona. But as great as Idaho is… It’s not where I belong. In fact no place in this world will ever truly be my home
My home is a place filled with Milk & Honey. I’m talking Full fat, vitamin D, whole milk kind… None of this Soy, Almond, and Coconut nonsense! My home has streets paved on gold and beauty far beyond compare. And because of THE best gift in the history of Man…I get to live there for FREEEEEEEE!!! All because of The Saviors love for me and his gift of life. All I have to do is die.
Now, I know that statement makes no sense at all. But, It really does. Jesus says it all in Mark 8:34-35
So, now that I’m a Zombie! For real I’m The Walking Dead! I’ve got 3 missions.
1. Love God
2. Love Others
3. Share The Love
Yep! Jesus told the Pharisees that the greatest commandments were to Love God and Love Others. If you ask me that’s a pretty sweet deal!
So, as much as I love Idaho and I think its pretty rad. I can’t wait till the day when I join My Savior in the most amazing place that I have ever seen.
