I can’t believe that it has been over a week since training camp ended. I left knowing that God had wrecked us all in the best of ways. However, I was still a little apprehensive that it was something that would fade after a week. This is completely UNTRUE! I have never received so much encouragement, prayers, and support from people that I have only known for such a short time. I am truly thankful for such an amazing squad and for my team, JSL!
This past week has been crazy and people probably think I am crazy too! It’s all okay because, like I said, I have been wrecked in the best of ways! I cannot imagine doing anything other than expanding the Kingdom! God has not stopped providing and I am truly thankful for Him.
This past weekend I took the opportunity to do a little fundraising back in good ‘ole Missouri! My previous employers (the Roy’s) opened up their shop for “A Night of Music and Coffee,” to support my endeavors on the race. It was a very successful night and could not have been made possible without everyone who showed up to support, the amazing musicians, Jeremiah Gallagher, Paul Pierce, and Lee Ellen, and of course the Roy’s! We were able to raise $1040! This is a testament to how great our God is!
