The first thing that I can say about myself is that I hate
writing about it! I grew up in the small town of Mount Pleasant in East Texas. I moved to Sulphur Springs in the
7th grade and stayed until graduation. I attended the University of Texas Arlington for my freshman year
and after many family changes and situations I ended up on a missions trip in Peru.
It was on that trip that God really worked on me and I decided that is what I
wanted to do for the rest of my life.  The rest is history and now I have
graduated from Baptist
Bible
College
in Springfield, MO
and waiting on January 4, 2010 to begin the World Race!

The most recent events in the last few months have been some
major milestones that I can not wait to see where they take me!  This
summer I am working on last minute paper work for some classes I had taken on a
directed field study that will actually give me the diploma!  The day
before graduation was the day I got my acceptance call from the World
Race!  These two events relate well to some of the things that I
enjoy…school and traveling.  I have always enjoyed school and learning
but I am glad to be done! Traveling has been something that I have always loved
and this summer I spent three weeks in Bogotá,
Colombia,
some time in Florida,
and in August a trip to Southern
California is planned to visit my brother and
sister-in-law.

In three weeks I will be moving home to Coppell, Texas
located in the DFW metroplex.  I love the Dallas area and really excited to go back and
be with family before the race starts.  Other than that  I enjoy
hanging out with good friends, eating out, playing golf, hiking, camping,
reading, music, concerts, coffee and espresso, and good conversation.
