If you don’t know what is going on in my life and what God is doing through me here is a quick recap of everything that is going on.
First off at the beginning of this semester I was accepted into the World Race and it took me a long time to figure out which route God wanted me to go on. Through deep prayer and asking him where he wanted me to go I finally decided to go on route 1. I really felt a calling for this route at the beginning when I first got accepted for a couple reasons. One being the countries in this route are amazing Bulgaria, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Thailand really stuck out to me. The second reason why this route stuck out to me was because God really put a fire in me to go on this one and I really want to find out why.
Second thing that has really been an impact in my life is I was invited to be on the Leadership team through Campus Outreach. Campus Outreach is a Christian ministry at the University of West Georgia that had an impact on my life back in March of 2017. When I got the invite to be on this team I was so excited because I was praying over the summer that this would happen. When I joined I got a bible study with 4 people and they have impacted my life so much. The way they trust Jesus and really lean on him is amazing to see. I also meet up with the team every other week and we talk about what God is doing in our lives and it is so inspirational to hear what he is doing in everyone’s life.
Another thing that is big in my life is that this is my last year at West Georgia, if everything goes to plan. So, I have been working hard and trying to make sure that I graduate on time. I will be graduating with my degree in Marketing and I can’t wait to get done!
Lastly one thing that is going on in my life is that I was also asked to be a part of a Discipleship group. This group has also impacted my life so much because it has really taught me about how to evangelize and tell people my testimony. In this group, we are reading about Paul and how he had such an impact when it comes to Christianity and how he gave all the glory to God. It’s amazing to read about Paul and how God could even use someone like him. It is very inspirational to read about and know that God can use anyone no matter what they have done.
That basically sums up everything that has been going on in my life for the past 3 months of college. I will end this blog with one of my favorite verses
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Your brother in Christ,
Austin Stanley
