My name is Austin Goss, I am 25 years old and a born again christian. Before God found me in the darkness I was in, baseball was my whole life. I played for four different colleges in 5 years living in 8 different states in 6 years. I played one year of professional baseball in Chicago and New Mexico. In November of 2017 I started to experience a lot of darkness that played a big role in my testimony to Christ but to keep it short in January of 2018 I gave my life to Jesus Christ. My life has been completely flipped upside down by God and He has truly opened my eyes to the truth in this world we live in. After reading the bible for the first time in my life God showed me His plan and my purpose in the big picture. I am just so thankful for God’s grace, mercy, and love. I myself was so lost in this world and had so much sin in my life, but by the grace of God alone He showed me His light. Repentance and the blood of Jesus has washed me clean from my iniquities.
My whole life I have lived with the attitude of loving others but as you know that always doesn’t work because this world will hurt you and cause you to seek things of this world to blind you from the pain deep down. God showed me His supernatural love in such a way words cant describe it, if you have been born again into the Kingdom of God then you know the feeling and the call on my life to continue to serve others is so great. I have a lot of trouble going about my daily life without talking about Jesus Christ and what He has done for me and all of mankind. God is love and God is light and so many people who don’t have Christ in their life need to know that truth. That truth that nothing of this world can take you away from that love that is felt through Jesus Christ the living and true God. The author and finisher of this life we live.
The route I have been accepted to is the expedition route for August of 2019. The Countries my Team and I will be going to are China, Nepal, India, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia.
