World Race Round 2

  Over the past year or so the Lord has been growing me and leading me into greater levels of leadership and discipleship. I was a team leader on the World Race for 8 months, then lead a group of college students into Africa last summer and since then have been helping others to go out into this mission field with my job at Adventures in Missions.

     I love what I do at Adventures. I love helping people get out onto the missions field to do what I have already done; to find more of their identity in Christ; to grow and be stretched in their faith and to impact the nations. However in the past few months the Lord has placed it on my heart to step into another new and greater level of leadership and discipleship.

     I am pleased to let you all know that in September I will be going back into the mission field to lead a World Race squad(3rd Generation J-Squad) for the first 5 months of their 11 month journey! I will be leading a squad of 39 World Racers with two other co-leaders. We will be the overall leadership on the field for the squad. Our main job is to love and help facilitate spiritual growth for the world racers.

     My main focus will be to pour into the racers on the field; to encourage and challenge them in their walk with Christ and help them grow in their faith. I am really excited to step into this role.

     I am also excited to help lead the men on my squad in deeper levels of what it means to be a Son of God and a Man of God. I want them to grow in that identity. I want to instill in them what it means to be men of Honor and Integrity. I want men of God to stand up. To be bold men in their faith and to be leaders in their communities and to their families one day. I want to see a generation of men walk in their Identity of being Men of God.

    I also desire to see women healed of their pasts and walk more in their identity of being daughters of our most high God. To see their true value in this world. To have their eyes opened to see themselves as God sees them(beautiful, worthy, washed clean, powerful…) not as the world defines them(weak, useless, less able, ugly, not worthy, objects…).

    We need people to start walking in the roles the Lord created us to live in. To be both sons and daughters who have a wonderful inheritance from their Father in heaven and to be Men and Women of Faith walking boldly in their identity in Christ.
