While at training camp, AIM staff had my squad do activities and other exercises, along with extensive prayer, to figure out how to pair us all up into smaller teams of 6-7 people. These are the people we will be doing ministry with on our 11 month Adventure. My team includes myself, one married couple, 2 beautiful woman and one brother in Christ. I’m proud to introduce you to……

TEAM RELENTLESS

Abby Steverson

Abby is probably the sweetest girl from Alabama you will ever meet! She’s southern all the way, with the accent and everything. She has a love for her family like no other, and now she is part of ours, and I couldn’t be happier to have her on our team!

Ty and Molly Capistrant

Ty and Molly are the resident married couple of the C squad! They’ve been married a little over a year and are already role models for us non-married folk for what a Christian marriage relationship should look like. Ty is our squad outdoorsman! He knows just about anything you would need to know about living outdoors, tents, fires, shelters, knots….you name it and he probably has some help for ya! He’s already been a great help and asset to our Squad and I know he’s going to do great things while we are traveling. Molly is a straight shooter. She is honest and speaks her mind, which will be great when it comes time for Team Feedback sessions. I’m  really looking forward to getting to know her better on the race 🙂

Janelle Rademaker

Janelle is the kind of person that seems to have a smile on her face more often than not, and her smile is infectious! She pretty much has the most epic job ever, which is making balloon animals! We surprised her with some balloons one day at camp and she made swords for our ENTIRE squad in probably less time it would take me to make 2 swords! She is going to do some great things on the race, and she is going to make some kids very happy with the gift she has!

Johnfrank Dieguez

This guy…this guys is my brother in Christ. Me and Him had a connection really early in training camp, and I could not be happier to have him on my squad. He is a great man of Christ and I am looking forward to some good times and deep conversations with him…..although this is something I could definitely say for my entire team, and entire squad. These are all amazing people and I know we are going to have some good times together.

I guess that just leaves Me, Austin. I was chosen by the Aim staff to be the Team Leader of Relentless. Being a Team Leader includes some extra responsibilities as well as being responsible for the team overall. This is some thing that I felt God calling me to coming into training camp, and He has reaffirmed that this is where He wants me in this upcoming season of my life. I am honored by the opportunity to lead my team in the missions field. I know it is going to be a learning experience and I will get stuff wrong at times, but I could not ask for a better team to Lead. I know they are going to be supportive of me in my role as Team Leader.
