I’m sorry for not posting that many blogs. I seriously thought in the beginning of this I would have a new blog written every three days, but that is definitely not the case – way harder then I thought, and I will post another blog soon on something other then fundraising, I swear.
The last few months have been so crazy and hectic though. I leave to go to Honduras in less then one week. I graduate in a little more then two months. And I leave to go work at Snowbird for the summer in a little more then two months as well.
With everything going on, it’s been really hard for me to solely focus on fundraising, but it has been so good at the same time. The Lord has shown his provision and faithfulness to me countless times throughout this journey already. I tend to worry a lot and get very anxious, so he has really been testing my patience and how much I truly trust in him. He has led me to a place of vulnerability and has humbled me a lot throughout this process, just with asking people for support.
I have almost $3,000.00 raised!!! I am so close to being 25% funded and that is just mind-bogling, I never imagined even having that much. The Body of Christ has just been so good to me, and I’ve realized how grateful I am to be united with them through Christ.
I need about $3,000.00 more to reach my deadline on May 3 for $6,000.00! I would be lying if I didn’t say I’m freaking out. I have no idea how on Earth I am going to get that money, but thats the goodness of it all. I can’t earn it on my own and it leads me to a place of putting my trust solely in God alone. I know that the Lord is going to provide and I am trusting in his faithfulness.
