Here is an article from the Gisborne Herald that was on page 2 of today’s paper. We were interviewed on Wednesday, and the reporter was interested, confused, and skeptical (all at the same time!) of what we are doing. It’s so hard to explain The World Race to a reporter in a way that can be summarized in an article, but we did our best. He was especially intersted to know if our Christian message was going to relate to those that are poor since we are wealthy American Christians. It was a great opportunity to tell him that being poor includes so much more than having or not having a lot of money. We also received some feedback from a Kiwi today that it’s amazing to see the name of Jesus printed in this city’s newspaper. We hope that this article will minister to people who don’t know Christ in this area and be an encouragement to those who do. If you’d like to read it, just click on the article below, and it will take you to straight to the article on the Herald’s site.
