WOW!! It has been a minute huh??
Well it has been a whirlwind of events on our end, I will keep it brief because me and Faith are going to work on a VIDEO UPDATE, so keep an eye out for that!
Where to begin?? Last I remember we were leaving the village of Assafou, Faith had malaria and we were heading to Ghana. Well we made it and it has been one thing after another!
Me and Faith were asked to be SQUAD LEADERS! What a humbling and honorable thing, all glory to God as we seek to glorify Him in this! That means that we, along with two others, are in charge of the rest of the squad of 50 racers! We do not take it lightly!
This changes our race a bit as our ministry is now working not only with those we come in contact with, but the racers in general. The Lord is teaching us a lot through this step into leadership.
Fast-forward, we have been in Ghana for close to two months and in a week we will be jumping over to Europe and specifically MONTENEGRO!
We are currently in our month called A.T.L. (ask the Lord) where we have NO agenda, we just pick a place in the country to go and ASK THE LORD to show up and provide. We are blown away by what HE is doing and will fill you in with our video!
It is crazy to think our time in Africa is coming to an end soon! It has been challenging, but also extremely rewarding to see the darkness OVERTAKEN BY THE LIGHT! We have done some DAMAGE to the gates of hell and added to the KINGDOM OF GOD!
As I type I am now also recovering from malaria. I felt like I got hit by a bus last Monday…..it was not joke. With a visit to the local clinic and after getting some meds I am on the mend, but wow is it a slow process. I see the Lord teaching and healing through it all.
I apologize for not honoring the commitment to keep you all in the loop better, but as you can imagine WIFI has been a bit hit and miss.
